Id also second Seahawk's route thru Az and N M. I've driven that route a few times, the area around Prescott regularly for a few years, outstanding roads in the mountains.
Vin. You will be wishing you had your Porsche to be driving, but beautiful any way. Old copper mining town, Jerome is worth a pause, it's a speed trap town so creep thru there.
I came across a couple of old stagecoach stops to the west of Prescott. Skull valley is along that section. Interesting history there.
Check out the Pioneer restaurant in Pietown. N M. Great pies. Check out the windmill collection just to the east of the restaurant.
Your gonna get a great hit of the deep southwest on that route.
I'm heading out that way in late November Myself and on to central Ca for a family visit. Going to be doing some carcamping in my new to me Jetta TDI sportwagen.
Cheers Richard
