Other than up and down our road a couple times a year (to get the oil hot), I have not driven my '79 SC for a couple years. Part of it is other hobbies/interests and part of it is that it has gone from a relatively cheap fun car summer to now being worth too much to be used as a daily summer driver. I also still have my fairly nice condition '87 951 which has not been on the road in probably 7 years. At 54 I WILL NOT get rid of either as I know that at some point I will get back on a Porsche kick.... By then both cars will be worth even more "collectible".... I have gotten rid of a couple cars when I was younger that I wish now I had kept. (1972 240Z, 1972 Mustang, numerous Beetles) I won't be making that mistake again.

Men do not quit playing because they get old.... They get old because they quit playing.
