Possible theft recovery.
A friend bought a Nissan 300ZX turbo at an insurance auction with very minimal damage.
Found the insurance card in the glove box, called the agent.
The story- A young kid owned the car, was his most prized possession, and his only asset.
Minor fender-bender, and he absolutely refused to have it with damage history.
They went round and round with the kid, finally said they'd total it, knowing it would bring a fair amount at auction.
I bought my 911 at an insurance auction. minor engine fire. Perfect candidate to toss the wimpy 2.4 and stuff a 3.2 in there.
