1) My wife loves the Golden Rain tree so it must stay. Wife hates the insects so they need to go.
2) They would not be much of a nuisance if they stayed at the tree. It was only when they starting invading the house that it became a serious problem. I'm not sure you can grasp the 10's of thousands of these things that live in the tree and how much they like migrate. They generally walk but the adults are capable of flight and unexpected landings freak me out.
