The counting methods have not been consistent.
In the US hospitals have been incentivized to count anything that appears to be Covid as Covid. (note how much more Covid count the US had/has than the ROW)
Otherwise healthy people rarely died from the Wuhan Virus. Apparently some people's systems would over react in trying to rid the body of the virus.
