At 31yrs old, I moved back home. Prior to that, my employer was contemplating full retirement. He came to me with his conundrum, to which I confirmed that it was the right decision to retire. He didn't want to let me down, and he didn't.

So I moved home and went back to school. Both of my parents had already retired. It was the best 3 years of my life. I had a part time job, mowed the lawn, recycled the cans, hung the Christmas lights, ate for free, and made the deans list 5 of 6 semesters.

Good times, wish I had it to do all over again!

Her youngest left for college straight out of high school, the university required freshmen to live in the dorm, but he came home every weekend. He did not spend one Friday night in the dorm. He has since moved back in with us and things could not be better. He is a good kid, a little hard on cars, but if I need his help, he's right in there with me fixing away.
