Dear Pelican Community (and those much more knowledgeable than me),
I am considering a 997.1 purchase, a 2006 911 S with 40,000 miles.
I need some help deciphering a PPI.
Specifically the DME Over-rev report, and how bad 99 overspeeds are at Range 4, 1,055 hours ago.
I have attached some photos from this report and the PPI provided at the Porsche dealership.
Dealer is asking $38,000.
It also had $17,000 of front end damage back in 2006 which shows up on the history report and I realize this affects resale and how the car holds value.
The PPI does not address the IMS but since it is 2006 is this an issue to consider? Is there a test I should have done?
Lastly, the remainder of the report points to a missing bracket and loose p/s reservoir, leaking axle seal on passenger side, a high probability of AC Condenser replacement (the GM told me "The a/c was blowing warm air when we got it. We replaced a valve and recharged the system and it was blowing cold again."), oil leaking from drain, and multiple collant leaks.
SO... here is my questions to the experts, is this a RUN FAST situation, or is there a "right" price to buy this given all of these concerns.
I look forward to some of your advice.
Thank you!
