Well, umm... same can be said for Fangio, Clark, Stewart, Prost, Senna, Schumacher...
So if a driver is not currently competitive, he can no longer be in consideration for a "favorite
all-time driver"?

He is only in it anymore just to have fun. He knows he will never again be in a competitive car, yet he keeps doing it for the love of the sport. That is a large part of why I said he has become my all-time favorite driver.
