I will start with the obvious:
Screw driver set
Utility knife
Wrench / socket set
Cordless drill / bits
Pliers
Locking pliers
Adjustable wrench
Putty knife
Tape measure
Circular saw
Straight edge
Duct tape
VOM
I would substitute a trisquare for the straight edge as it should have a bubble level in it. Drop the circular saw for a good hand saw.
