I just got off the phone with a woman whom I work with who lives in Mehama. This is up the North Fork of the Santiam where several towns were also devastated.
She said that her home was spared. Also, that Canyon Autobody in Mehama was spared. Canyon Auto has a dear place in my heart as they sprayed Glasurit on my 911 SC.
I guess the take away? Not all is lost. It was uplifting to talk with her.
