Hahaha. That's funny Paul.

I have one in my drawer, and one in my truck, use it all the time. I use it to cut my toe nails outside. My vision started going about 6-7 year ago when my workman said, " see that pipe there, its leaking a bit from the bottom." I went looking for the flashlight. He said, "How can you not see it. Its right there?" That when I knew I'm an old dude, like you. I use to make fun of my mechanic behind his back about using his flash light shining into the engine bay outside under our socal sunshine. AS we get older, the world becomes a darker place.

I spend a lot of money on those head lamps. Zebra Light is what I buy. You can chose the beam spread from the factory, narrow for distance, but all mine are wide spread with even lighting 10' dia. So its daylight anytime you need it but the light doesn't bounce back to blind the user.
