I live in a very "hilly" town. Lots of 2-5% grades all around - I would probably be using the electric assist quite a bit. Coasting down-hill, not so much. That is one thing I miss about living in Irvine - flat for miles in every direction so I could ride longer distances.

It also depends on what level of assist you use, how heavy you are and how much climbing you're be doing.
