I have a similar bike, a Trek Hybrid with skinny tires and upright handlebars.
I looked at all the various conversion options, with front or rear hub.
At the end of the day, a decent conversion kit ran about 600 or more
So, I bought one of these, for 1199...
I could not see the point of screwing up a good bike.
It’s nimble, and very lightweight for an E Bike @ 37 lbs, with the battery, and has more than decent components
