I like pinto beans. MrsWD doesn't, so I make them for myself now and then. I made a batch a couple of days ago.
Pressure cook beans for half an hour or so, or soak them overnight and - oh hell, they're beans - cook them.
Cut up and fry a couple of strips of bacon
Add two tablespoons of chopped onion when the bacon is almost done.
Add two cups of cooked beans
Add two tablespoons of PV Ranch hot tomato salsa
Add two tablespoons of sweet BBQ sauce.
It's quick, easy, and tasty.
