Hi guys, I recently purchased my first air cooled Porsche, a beautiful 1974 911 base. Trying to figure out if it is the original motor and based on my research I am fairly certain it is. Looking for some other opinions... So the car is a 2.7 G obviously, first year for the 2.7 and based on the vin, the manufacture date of the car is December of 1973. The engine code is 6134792 which is the slightly confusing thing. My understanding is '74 was the first year for the 2.7 correct and since it was built in 12/73 does that make since with the 3 in the code? Does it make sense that this would be the original motor?
