I have installed the Stealth shifter. I had to have the base plate machined to accept the heater lever. I also have threaded the shift rod extender to accept my early screw in shift knob. The threading is cocked and I need to do it over. I also installed the Stomski coupler. I also replaced the completely worn out gearbox and motor mounts. The gearbox has stock bushings. The motor has Wevo black.
I need work on the adjustment, it is not optimized.
Overall shifting is completely different. I am having to relearn shifting. There is no vagueness which confuses me. It is not obviously in gear because it enters the gear so quickly and positively.
I think it is an improvement but it has changed the character of the car. Too soon to tell if the character is improved or not. I have a long drive planned for tomorrow so I should have a better assessment
