Like Doug says, use the meds, do the PT. Verify with the therapist how much is too much since doing more then recommended sometimes sets you back.

That is absolutely true.
You walk a fine line between too little and too much.
Inflammation and swelling initially are your guide.
After 6 weeks, I'm just about at 110 deg flexion which I think is about just par for the course.
But that's with some pain and difficulty.
I'm hoping in the end that I get 125 deg w/o pain.
I'll be happy at that point.
