Yes, you just may be confused. If you're using the RCA out of the Blaupunkt into the pioneer and out of the pioneer to speakers then nothing will happen.

If you're using the gray/black and white/black speaker outs, INTO the pioneer, then out to the crossovers then you also will hear nothing.

If you're hooking gray/black and white/black into the crossover and spearkers then it will work like it used to.

The pioneer is meant to be part of a larger system with a power amp after it, into the crossovers and then the speakers.

If you are only using one set of speakers you could unhook the gray/black and white black. Then do

Blaupunkt RCA - Pioneer - Power amp - Crossover - speakers.

And then get into the blaupunkt and make sure it's supposed to be sending noise to the RCA, which it probably is.
