The price difference for new factory batts is likely due to different capacities available (6 cell vs. 9 cell, etc.). Just beware of "cheap" replacement laptop batteries. Many are refurb jobs using the factory "shell", but with sub-par no-name Chinese cells, which are garbage. They are all over eBay and Amazon, and some of the more shady sellers try to pass them off as "new" factory batts.
