I just replaced some halogens nearer the house with LEDs. This time we went with cooler, 2700 - 3000k color temps and it is much more comfortable.

We did the opposite. We went 5000k from 2700k on everything inside and out because we don't like the warm colors. I did make one mistake. We put the Cree 6w that look like regular incandescent bulbs in our kitchen ceiling fan. Supposedly they are 450lm like a 40w bulb, but I swear they are more like an 80w bulb they are so bright.
