Yesterday afternoon, there was a housefire in Anacortes WA. One of the boys who goes to elementary school with my girls, and who's mother works at the school perished as well as their family dog.
His mother is one of the paraeducators at Madison Elementary School in Mount Vernon WA. She is an active member of the parent's association for the school and volunteers her time after school hours to help out with the meetings and other school events, all while off the clock.
My wife set up a Go Fund Me to help with the associated medical bills, funeral expenses and to try to help them rebuild their life so much as they can.
