Finally got to the point where I was able to operate my heater. I still have some restoration work left to do but mostly cosmetics at this point.
Takes a while, like more than 24 hours, for the wick to adequately pull up the kerosene. I only put a gallon in it for now.
Nice to see the blue flame and when I put the cover on it really starts cranking!
