LOL. I think it does come close...as much as any enthusiast-built car. This is a street car that was well done and likely used by the owner/enthusiast. I suspect that there are cosmetic flaws on a lot of well-used Singers...assuming that any are used and not just trophies for their owners (and garage queens). Clearly, with an unlimited budget, one can buy infinitesimally small increments in both cosmetic or performance that are largely unused (like 3.6 vs 3.2). This car would far exceed almost anyone's ability to drive it on the street...and looks are largely owner preference. Obviously, I am judging from the photos.
Of course it is not a $100K+ car, but I bet it sells for less than you could build a duplicate (and much less than any Singer). If I were in the market, I would happily bid on this and simply change the cosmetic things that I would do differently.
