That was then and this is now...Back in the early 70's the Ventura Freeway still moved along pretty good at rush hour..say around 45 mph if memory serves.....since the mid 80's it has been a parking lot at Rush hour..
Back in the early 80's my Dad used to commute from Glendora in the San Gabriel Valley all the way to TRW in Redondo Beach everyday..even then that is a fking hike...you could not do that today.
