I raced spec miata for years. I think I quit about 2014 or so. It was a blast. Great group of people. We would put about 60-70 cars on sebring track.
It is ok if you are near the front. I would qualify and finish about 10th. Only win was in the rain.
Racing was close and clean.
It is seen as many as a learning class- from about positions 20-40 they all thought they were the next F1 drivers- lots of metal on metal.
Great memories, still have some friends from those times.
