Problem
I have a question on my 2007 Porsche cayman base I'm in the process of replacing the clutch in this vehicle. After removing the transmission, I noticed that the rubber elbow from the air cleaner to the intake pipe was all caved in and distorted. I removed it thinking it was installed incorrectly I noticed how offset the two pipes were. I worked on it for more than a hour trying to get it back together I tried to get the kinks out with no avail. It looks the same as when I removed it.Its so kinked I'm afraid its restricting the intake air flow. Anybody haven ideas? I tried lining the seam but made no difference
