So I ended up dropping the engine to get the air cleaner off as I had wedged it in there.

After trimming all the parts of the pad above the mass airflow plate, the air box still won’t clear the two screws.

I think this might be due to me replacing the 3 rubber insulators that the FD/MAF assembly sits on. I also replaced the engine mounts so it may be sitting a bit higher for that reason too.

Which makes me wonder...does anyone know if the air box was supposed to originally come off without dropping the engine a bit?
