Before my Weber rebuild/upgrade (32mm venturis, bigger jets, velocity stacks) I went 110 mph. Now this is with a 27:24 top gear humming at 6200 rpm. The car probably now could come pretty darn close to 120 and at least 115. The car goes freely up to 7000 rpm (4th gear, 6900 rpm, 2 people, 110 mph!!!!!) and will go to about 7500 but I don't go there, something about the fear of massive engine failure, particularly the crank. In fact, the only time it gets pushed over 6K is during autocrosses and making up SERIOUS time on a rally (that's where the 110 mph in 4th came)

Now you must realize this is a *race engine* used on the street. It has a big bore, 10.5:1 compression, webers, 050, lightweight flywheel and crank, hot cam, and is balanced perfectly. How much power you ask, over 120 hp. And it WILL out-run an early 911T.
