It’s not just nostalgia, it’s the analog connection and feedback that just doesn’t exist in the vast majority of cars. How many other sports cars give you that much visceral feedback to understand what the car is doing underneath you? The older Miata and maybe some of the older M cars and water cooled Porsche’s will offer a close experience but none have the build quality of the older air cooled. There’s a reason demand continues to stay strong and I predict they will continue going up. Yeah we may see a small dip if/when the economy cycles down but they will recover and continue upwards. As they say, they aren’t building anymore and new cars are quickly moving away from the driving experience.
