And Porsche is well aware of this, this, they see what companies like Singer have done with an old 911 (with some extra sweetness thrown in) and the crazy money people are paying for the cars. In 2020 Porsche couldn't replicate this if they wanted to - unless they do what Jaguar and Aston Martin have done with vintage factory recreations (for insane money).
No car company can although you might come close with an MX-5 or BRZ, but the pedigree isn't there and the quality is lacking.
