Go to a professional locksmith, not Home Depot, a hardware store, or a mall...they'll just f&$%k it up. I got 2 new keys cut a few weeks ago, it cost a bit more (I think $10 for 2 keys) but they're steel, they work, and they're guaranteed. My locksmith even ke-keyed a door cylinder for me for free....uses the same tabs as a VW or a 924. I don't trust any of my locks to anyone but a registered pro. Good thing there's one close by.
