Mine was a 1959 or 60 version without a gas gauge.
While tectonic plates could beat it in zero to
something, it was mine and got me off the ranch. I loved it so. I bought from a friend of my father's who was transitioning to a job in DC: $139 scooters, the price of a one-way ticket from LAX to DCA in those days.
