Chamonix was awesome. Highly recommended. Not for the timid, or beginner.
The walk down to the glacier was scarier than any black diamond I ever ran..... You are literally latched onto a cable with a caribiner (sp?), to keep from falling 10k feet. Don't ski the glacier for the first time without a guide!
A non-ski day at the top of the mountain......
An amazing town......
Go for it! Yes, the snow is better in Utah, but everything else is better in Chamonix!
