The male follows me around in the morning as I get the coffee maker to making coffee. He lives to eat. The female does follow me in to the laundry room in the evening for dinner.
They both really HATE the going back to normal time thing. Their tummies don't reset. They adapt to daylight savings time in under a millisecond, but going back is really hard.

Our dogs were confused yesterday too.
They are "put in place" when it is feeding time. They have to get on a "dog training hammock" which is the only way I can think to describe it right now. That is their place, they must stay in that place until told it is OK to go eat.
It teaches them impulse control and respect. Last night, they just got in their place position without being instructed to. They decided it was time to eat so they started the routine. We got a kick out of that.
They were good dogs before we sent them off to a trainer for 2 weeks. Now they are amazing dogs. Both can be off leash anywhere and will just cruise along with us.
Around the house certain commands will get immediate response. Like "Out" if they have something in their mouth that shouldn't be there. (This was instilled in them just in case they find a Bufu Toad which will kill them) We say out, the mouth opens, the item drops.
I was skeptical the training would work, I am damn impressed with the results.
