Hey Sugarwood, I bought it last November, came home on a rollback It has taken me a full year to get it finished. I think it was March when I got it running for the first time, but just to establish a base line because by then I knew the engine had to come out for the head stud replacement and seals.
This is the first Carrera for me, but 8th 911. 72 911T coupe Gulf Orange, 78 911 coupe Petrol Blue, 1980 911SC Targa ice blue, 1983 911SC Targa (is that Guards or India Red?), 1983 911SC cabriolet, black, 1994 964 cab, black, 1995 993 cab polar silver.
I liked them all, but this one drives exceptionally well and it is nice to have a coupe again. I think this one is my favorite of them all though I'm not a big fan of black cars, but they keep finding me. It is the first one I've had corner balanced, so maybe that makes a difference, too.
I've driven it maybe 100 miles total so far. That will definitely be changing.
