Hot steam is the best. Advertisement shops remove stickers from windows with this kind of equipment. It kinda has a "mitten" where the hot steam comes out. Just place the mitten over sticker and take the sticker off, with your hands. Yea, it comes off.
I took stickers off from this -86 Peugeot, it had 4 layers of stickers and believe me, i tried heatgun. 2 hours, one fender with heatgun. 30 minutes with "steamy-mitten" -> Rest of the car.
