Low oil indicator failure
My 997.1 was recently 4.5 quarts low on oil 600 miles after an oil change at my dealer. Grant it, I was a knucklehead for not checking it regularly. But, I received no low oil warning. The dealer tells me this is impossible because 3 oil indication systems would need to fail in order NOT to get a low oil warning. Have others experienced their car low on oil and received no "low oil" warning nor a "check engine" warning? Thanks, Bill
