I guess there is a butt for that seat, but I can't ever imagine spending that much money on any car. They did not send me a marketing brochure, so I guess I am not on the marketing list.

If you were a billionaire it wouldn't seem like that big a deal.
I remember years ago as I was progressing through jobs. I switched from one job where I was making squat, to another job where I was W2 contract getting paid by the hour at a place that was coming out of bankruptcy. We were hired in to clean up the network at a place that had been left in a shambles by the previous crew. We were OK to work up to 60hrs/wk. I did, and that was the first time that I saw a $5k Net. check for 2 weeks. I thought that was fantastic. I was hanging out with a manager from another group in the same place. He had been there longer and was familiar with the C-level execs that had been brought in to bring the place out of bankruptcy. He told me that there was a guy that ended up billing for over 2400 hours and was making $580/hr for part of the year and then $620/hr for the rest of the year. I suspect that guy may have had a check where the take-home portion for 2 weeks was $50,000. It's still hard for me to fathom a two week paycheck that could go out and buy a new car with change left over. That guy might not be the target for a car that costs $700k, but he might be the target for a 911TT or a 911 GT3.
