Bug door

Not sure what has happened to the online private party selling world, or more specifically, why?

I have this used VW bug door, fits several years from late '60s to '70s, in good condition w no rust or bondo, both pieces of glass, latches, etc.. It just wound up in my possession at some point and I need to clear out a storage space. There was a time when a person could practically sell their used underwear on craigslist, now it is so dead that even the scammers seem to have moved on(?) Not a peep on a common auto part like this, for any price.

Can't remember the exact price I listed it for, maybe $200 but not even a low ball offer. I know that it's not 1976 but there were eleventy billion of these sold, no one need a drivers door?

It's not about the door, it's about the former open source nature of the internet, where private parties bought and sold stuff from each other for no advertising charge and a huge audience. What happened?
