I actually like the styling, it’s aggressive and distinctly Japanese. What lets me down is that it’s a BMW in Toyota clothing, a total fraud. I also find it hard to believe that this one will have the same legacy as a bulletproof platform for tuning that made the 1990s Supra a legend. It also seems like a letdown for $55k, there are a few cars that are much more appealing at that price point.

It’s silly to think that age doesn’t come into play when talking styling, we were all influenced by the environment in which we grew up in. It’s not an insult, it’s just part of what makes us unique. I’m 40 and grew up in the golden age of Japanese super cars, one of my perpetual wish list cars is a Z32 300ZX TT. I’m spot on in the target demographic for this thing. I just think it’s a fraud. Also I drive a sports car semi-daily, it cost half the money, is more special, and is faster.
