Exactly! And the giggling at total inside jokes is really annoying. Of course the anointed winner is British so he gets extra love and attention.
Just show the racing, and that is at the front for a few laps, and then the leader runs off and hides and laps all the other cars back to 5th place with such a superior car.
For the pre-race show the background of the venues can be interesting. During the race, keep the subject on the race at hand, and not their personal thoughts.
And I wish they would all learn that Honda is NOT pronounced Hon-der.
