my tooth implant was a success!!

today was my torque test!! and being a nerd, i had to ask what the torque value was. 35 N*Cm. pretty cool actually feeling him turn until he got the same double-click i look for on a lug nut.

my fake tooth goes in January when my dental insurance turns over a new year. while i hope and pray i NEVER have to do that again, i do have to admit, it was a cakewalk. inconvenient?..yes. painful? no.

on the shiny side of this coin, i have improved my oral hygiene to damn near OCD levels. i am not losing another one without a fight! i floss twice a day, and i irrigate like madness. lesson learned.
