Back when I was still just 19 my front teeth died. Two teeth, no cavities. The dentist said it likely was from getting hit in the face a lot by my brother. It was back when the dentist could do root canals and he did root canals. Of course over the years they became very yellowed. So I had crowns, but eventually those needed to be replaced with implants.
You might remember as a kid having the period when the front teeth fall out and the permanent teeth grow in. As an adult it sucks to have no front teeth. They first removed the old remains of the teeth, and put in the cadaver bone. It is several month of no front teeth. It is hard to talk!
As a guy, I just let my mustache grow really long, the 80s huge mustache look, and most people never knew I was a hillbilly looking toothless man. Finally I got the implants, but that had to heal up before they capped them with teeth. It sure was nice to talk normal and eat corn on the cob again.
