Backfire
When I start my 1966 912, I get a huge backfire that sounds like a stick of dynamite. Seems to happen when the car is cold and air temperature is cool. I have rebuilt my Solexes and have MDS ignition. I also changed the exhaust manifold gasket thinking it might allow air in to ignite unburned fuel. Nothing has worked. Anyone have a suggestion?
