to be fair.. nobody would be impressed with a 904 like car, it wasn't high power compared to the other top end sports cars in it's day..
it was light, it was dead reliable.. but it was not high power at all.
imagine the reviews if Porsche built one to the same concept..today
They would end up with a Lotus Elise like.. and people would snub it if a Porsche had such crude build finish in 2020... And rightly so.. I wouldn't want a Lotus for the same reason , no matter how much fun they are at the track, they are just built to cheap for my taste..interior is just uggo on an Elise..
I like my Porsche to be fun off on track, and still be usable and comfortable outside the track.... I think a Cayman does the trick.. Maybe they could lighten it a little bit.. but knowing Porsche they would just charge more for deleting things and I haven't got that money anyway
