So since we're venturing off the standard path on oil, I was at a LGS recently and he was giving out free samples of Lucas Extreme Duty Gun Oil. Huh? When I hear Lucas I think motor oil and gear lube.
It had Brownells on the sample package so I guess one is paying for the other's advertising. Jeff: have you heard of this stuff and is it any good.
I've been happy with Breakfree CLP in a needle tip applicator squeeze bottle to have better control and not drench my gun in oil and then put a whisper of Mil-comm synthetic grease with a needle tip on the rails. The only thing worse than no lube is too much in the wrong places.
