Matt is correct, Vern.
But I know what you were saying.
Shows like this are no longer shown on the mainstream networks.
But like Matt, I tend to watch more content on the alternative/vintage stations - for me on cable mostly - but I also have a dedicated TV on antenna and can pick up quite a few stations with it - with true HD!
I like the old westerns mostly like Gunsmoke, The Virginian, Rawhide, Wild Wild West, The High Chapperal, The Rifleman, Have Gun Will Travel, Wanted Dead or Alive, The Big Valley, Bonanza, and Alias Smith and Jones. Then there's non-westerns like Adam 12, Dragnet, Hawaii Five-O, Black Sheep Squadron, Combat, The Rat Patrol, Twelve O'Clock High, MASH, and probably the best TV show ever created....Star Trek....with Miami Vice coming in at second place.
I don't really know off the top of my head when and on what channel old Benny Hills are aired, but they probably are.
There's also Law and Order plus it's spin offs, House, Jag, The District, Monk, Cheers, Hill Street Blues, Frasier, NYPD Blue, Nash Bridges, and a host of other classics worth watching.
I haven't even mentioned the movies - but if you've perused the movie thread, you'll see I've also enjoyed that category.
Probably because I'm old, but the only "modern" TV show - and in particular sitcom - that I always enjoy is "The Big Bang Theory' which never fails to make me laugh.
Thank the Lord for these alternative TV channels and for You Tube, eh?
