Interesting question.... I purchased a non-sunroof G. I do not believe I paid a premium or received a discount over a similiar equipped S/R car. For me it was the characteristic that made me pull the trigger on the car and overlook its color which wasn't a desired color for me. I have seen non-S/R cars languish on the market.
I do agree with you S/Rs don't belong on hot rods.
Ironiclly, S/Rs command a premium on 356s & long hoods.
