Why not leave the rear speakers out altogether? I unhooked my rears and plan to leave them out when I redo my enterior/parcel shelf and go with a clean/speakerless rear parcel shelf -- I find my upgraded front speakers to provide great sound without the rears, and found the rears (when they were hooked up) to throw off the fronts' stereo image. If you want more bass, add a small underseat powered sub.
