I have the original Blaupunkts in the rear and they are fried. I have been thru Crutchfield and it does not look like they have a drop in replacement. It seems the issue is magnet depth and diameter on new speakers is considerably larger.
At this point, I think I will replace the fronts again with some better units, disconnect the rears and move on. Crutchfield has lots of options for the fronts so this should be fairly simple.
